Community Way - Good Causes return to portfolio of good causes

Tolladine Community Centre and Christ Church are seeking £200,000 to extend and refurbish the building

 Tolladine Community Centre and Christ Church are located under one roof in a 1920’s building on one of the oldest council estates in Worcester. Together they provide community and pastoral care for just over 5,000 people in an area of high unemployment and social deprivation.

 

The building currently houses a range of activities including:

  • Baby Clinic
  • Crèche
  • Parent & Toddler
  • Play schemes
  • Youth Clubs
  • Judo
  • Breakfast Club
  • Drop-in
  • Welfare Rights
  • Disco & Functions

    •  Apart form requiring an external face lift the building desperately requires more space to include:

     Disabled access to the church

     More church space + flexible space

     Storage Space

     Small Privacy room

     Coffin Access

     Display area

     Comfortable sitting area

     Baby changing room

     Bigger Kitchen

     Reception area

     Better use of external space- sports area
